About Kim Roziere

Born & raised in Brandon, Kim has a vested interest & knowledge of our Community.

Kim started volunteering at the Brandon Mental Health Center in high school where a passion and career in mental health began. Kim worked as a Crisis Worker while completing her Bachelor of Science specialist/Honors degree in Psychology then a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing and began working as a Clinician with The Crisis Stabilization Unit, Mobile Crisis Unit, Child and Adolescent Treatment Center, Community Trauma Team & the Critical Incident Stress Management Team providing assessments and counselling from 2003 to present.

Kim furthered her education while working, completing a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistics, an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy leading to optimal performance in all areas of life by linking body and mind.

In 2021 Kim completed her training for EMDR Therapy.  EMDR Therapy is a form of psychotherapy using a bi-lateral neural stimulation technique that reconnects the traumatized person in a safe and measured way, allowing the natural healing powers of the brain to move toward adaptive resolution.

Kim thoroughly enjoys helping people help themselves by figuring out how to overcome that which ails them, strengthen their individual attributes, diminish or eliminate ineffective, unhealthy mental strategies developed in coping with illness and trauma, and mapping out the life and health they desire. Entirely client centered, Kim believes each client has their own answers and tasks herself to ask the right questions leading their way to self discovery, recovery and holistic happiness.
